The room was really spacious and had a cozy feel to it. I loved having a kitchenette with an oven, microwave, and toaster. It was so convenient! The flat-screen TV with satellite channels kept me entertained during my stay. The open-plan lounge area and kitchenette in the apartment was a great place to hang out. I appreciated the mini-fridge and tea-and-coffee making facilities in the more spacious room. The en suite bathroom was a treat with its corner bath and shower. Some rooms even had a patio, which was a nice addition.
Personally, I didn't enjoy having a bath in the en suite bathroom.

We enjoyed our stay at The Lodge, with its value for money one bedroom apartment and lovely views of the golf course. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the accommodating staff and the availability of a variety of delicious vegetarian and vegan options at both the restaurant and breakfast dining area. The complimentary continental breakfast offered a good selection of quality cold meats, cheeses, yoghurt/fruit, and fabulous breads. The Lodge's location within a golfing estate added to the pleasant atmosphere, and we even had the opportunity to spot Springbok on the course. Additionally, the Lodge is situated close to the Capaia wine farm, providing a convenient option for wine enthusiasts.
Our overall experience at The Lodge was fantastic, and we felt very at home during our stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met, and nothing was too much trouble for them.

I had a wonderful stay at this lodge. the staff, from the manager/owner to the cleaning staff, were extremely accommodating and made our stay truly enjoyable. We were allowed full use of all the facilities, including having a family braai at the venue, which added a special touch to our wedding celebrations. the lodge showcased true South African hospitality to our German visitors. Our room had a lovely view overlooking the fairway and we even had a patio where we could enjoy the surroundings. the staff was friendly and efficient, and we had access to the fitness center and clubhouse. The beach was just a short drive away, making it a perfect place to relax. Cons: None ☺.

Beautiful golf course views and comfortable rooms with air conditioning, mini fridge, and bath were the best aspects of our stay. The location was also advantageous, with the beach and a shopping center nearby.
The restaurant was not open for dinner on Sundays and not open at all on Mondays, which was quite inconvenient. the staff left earlier than expected, as the bar was already closed at 10:40pm, leaving us with no options for drinks.

A Memorable Meal: During our stay, we decided to try the Clubhouse restaurant and opted for their curry evening. While my wife went for the fried fish, I bravely chose the curry. Let me tell you, it was like a rollercoaster ride for my taste buds! The flavors were so explosive, it felt like a firework show in my mouth. The chef truly knows how to create a culinary experience that leaves a lasting impression.
Lackluster Response: Unfortunately, when we expressed our disappointment with the curry, the chef didn't seem to take it seriously. It would have been great to receive a more attentive and understanding response.

We had access to the golf course, and even though we aren't pros, it was so cool to play a few holes. The Leisure Centre was epic, we had a blast swimming and chilling by the pool. And the Elemental Health and Beauty Spa? It was heaven! We got pampered like VIPs!
The only thing we wished for was more nightlife. We wanted to party and have a blast, but the lodge didn't have any night activities for young party-goers like us.

We had a fantastic weekend getaway! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable from start to finish. The room was neat and clean, and the continental breakfast had a great selection of cheese and cold meats. The location was convenient, with the beachfront and Melkbos just a short distance away. Plus, the tranquil surroundings added to the peaceful ambiance. We also appreciated the option to have lunch and dinner at the onsite clubhouse.
The faulty bathroom window in room 16 was a minor inconvenience.

The Lodge at Atlantic Beach exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the friendly and helpful staff. The room was absolutely stunning and the beds were like sleeping on clouds. The views from our window were jaw-dropping, with deer grazing right outside on the golf course. The complimentary breakfast each morning was mind-blowing, with a great selection of high-quality cold meats, cheeses, and fresh fruit. We also loved the option to have breakfast on the patio at the Country Club, overlooking the golfers. The Country Club's daily special menu provided some incredible meals, and we even spotted a Springbok on the course. The location was fantastic, with beautiful restaurants and a nearby wine farm. if you're looking for an unforgettable stay with an incredible golf course, this is the place to be!
